5 STAR TRIP ADVISOR REVIEW - France/UK. August 2017
What a romantic setting. We could not imagine a better place to go for our honeymoon. Diane's cottage sits on top of the hill overlooking the beautiful ocean and the green virgin pastureland. Tir nan Og cottage is a great start for loads of gorgeous walks. Diane kindly kept a guide in her library to recommend the best ones. The hamlet Stein with its buzzing pub and excellent seafood restaurant is also at walking distance. There are also loads of local craftmakers nearby worth a visit. The cottage has all the comfort you can ever dream of, the most comfortable bed, a beautiful kitchen with very wide windows overlooking the bay and a working log burner fireplace in the living room! The perfect feature to enjoy these incredible bright Scottish nights. Diane is also an excellent host and has been communicating to us very regularly on the phone or per email to give us all the info we needed and useful tips to enjoy our stay. We can not recommend enough this place. As we say in french, "ce n'est qu'un au revoir", Isle of Skye and Tir nan Og, we will see you soon. Laurent and Rebecca

Stayed here soon after the cottage opened and had a superb week. Well appointed and lovingly looked after, the cottage offers a splendid base for touring the North of Skye. Although isolated (we think of this as an advantage), planning ahead ensures no real issues. Treat yourself to a total recharge!

This place was awesome. Really it was the nicest apartment / cottage / house/ B & B I have ever stayed at.
The place was so well maintained and clean... The garden was lovely... the rabbits entertaining...
The bed was comfy as were the sofa and chairs. Everything worked and you had everything I needed...
Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us.

We contacted Diane via phone and email and always felt very well informed. We got detailed information about cottage and area before our holiday and in the cottage. We liked the house at once and were nowhere disappointed. All the tasteful furniture is very comfortable and thanks to underfloor heating and woodburnind stove it's always warm and cosy inside. The location is very quiet, but close to the road (owner's comment: the cottage overlooks the sea, the public road is down the hill not in view, and only 1 minute from the cottage). The views are breathtaking. The nice pub and the seafood restaurant in Stein are not far away - very convenient, and George will deliver freshly caught fish to your doorstep. Apart from all amenities we liked sitting at the dining and enjoying the views best, especially in the evening.

We have stayed in the cottage twice and both times have been amazing. The facilities and finish of the cottage is lovely with so much thought going into the finishing touches. We had an issue with the electrics on one of our stays and we were able to get in touch with the housekeeper who got it fixed quickly. I love everything about this cottage from the location to the furniture...
